Class 10 visit the Fire Station

Adam and Barry have been doing a mini topic on the Great Fire of London in 1666. Back then, fire fighters had to put out fires using leather buckets. We went to visit the Fire Station at North Anderson Drive to learn how fire fighters work now.

Class 10 would like to offer our sincere thanks to everyone at the Fire Station for such an interesting visit! We’ve all learned lots today and really enjoyed it. Being allowed to stay to watch the training exercise was a real highlight – we’re only sorry that the snow came down so heavily and we had to rush away!
